Where did you grow up?

I grew up outside of Philadelphia, PA. I have one younger brother and two younger sisters, so I spent a lot of time with my siblings growing up. My love for reading began in childhood, as I would read 5-10 books per week in elementary school. I played both volleyball and softball regularly growing up. I also have great memories from going to my grandparent’s house in Ocean City, New Jersey during the summer.

Employee Spotlight: ElisabethHow did you decide on attending Notre Dame? How did you decide your major?

I was attracted to the combination of great academics and a fun sports atmosphere. I also loved the residential life system, in which you live in the same residence hall community for four years.

I majored in Chemistry, intending to do medical research or something more science-heavy. I discovered an interest in healthcare, and really enjoyed learning more about the intersection of business, healthcare, and medicine.

What was your recruiting process like?

I was an experienced hire – I came from another firm. So I had a different experience than on campus recruiting. I brought what I learned at my first job but I have been able to grow immensely through the work I have done at Pathstone. Being in consulting, I anticipated the high workload, fast paced environment, and quick learning. I could not have predicted how much I have grown both personally and professionally in my time at Pathstone. The combination of the small firm and supportive environment have allowed me to come into my own as a person and as a consultant.  Employee Spotlight: Elisabeth

What are your favorite types of books? Where is your favorite place to read?

My favorite books to read are historical fiction. I absolutely love to learn, so I am always excited to read books that allow me to learn more about a time, place, or person in history.

My favorite place to read is on the porch on a Sunday morning.

What was your favorite memory from this summer in Chicago?

My favorite memory from this summer in Chicago was going on a paddle boat ride around the Chicago River. The boat traveled around the Loop up and down the river. I loved seeing the great views of the city and taking in the Chicago architecture.
