Where did you go to School and how did you decide your major?

I attended Penn State University and decided on supply chain for my major. I decided on Penn State since I received an honors scholarship and I’m from King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. Supply chain attracted me due to the combination of critical thinking and problem solving the degree holds.

What was your recruiting process like?

I came across Pathstone by searching through the Penn State career page online. I then did more research on Pathstone by visiting the website and realized it was a growing, entrepreneurial firm. After connecting with a Penn State alum that worked at Pathstone, I was very interested in the opportunity to work at Pathstone. Going through the recruiting process was great and allowed me to recognize it was the right fit to start my career.

Is the job what you expected? Why or why not?

To be honest, I did not know what to expect being that this is my first job out of college. I expected to meet and work alongside a lot of great people at Pathstone, which met my expectations. I did not expect to get this amount of exposure to healthcare. I also am learning a lot quicker than I anticipated. It is challenging to manage the many tasks that come with a consulting role, but it has exceeded my expectations in terms of the number of reps I have gotten in a short time.

Why healthcare consulting?

I really liked the idea of applying my supply chain background to a field that is important to everyday life. I wanted to be part of a meaningful industry coming out of college. Other supply chain roles I had been exposed to were in consumer goods which did not feel as meaningful to me, personally. Working at Pathstone makes me feel good about what I do.

What has been your favorite Chicago memory so far?

Our Pathstone quarter three event where we took a sunset dinner cruise with the whole firm was a great memory. I got to get to know everyone a lot better and watching the sunset on the lake was great.

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Franzone’s pizza. It’s my favorite pizza in the world. The sauce is sweet, and the pizza is always good. It’s my go to every time I go home. I usually eat an entire large pizza on my own, it’s too good not to.
